Royally Blue

I’m an Alpha Xi Delta and our colors are double blue & gold & our flower is the pink killarney rose. Whenever I wear any of these colors, it reinforces my love for Alpha Xi Delta. Now you don’t need to be an Alpha Xi Delta to wear royal blue! Rock that color ladies!  This has to be the most beautiful blue I have ever seen.

In my very first clothing post, I showed you guys a blue maxi dress from Nordstrom by Lush Clothing. I finally wore it and I am in love with it.  It’s super flattering and it doesn’t cling to your skin or hugs your curves. I don’t like to wear dresses like that because I like things to be super loose and comfy (totally up to you, just my personal preference). My go to hair look when wearing maxi dresses is usually a high sock bun. I use a medium hair styling ring to do my buns (it’s from H & M) and it comes out perfectly 95% of the time. There are definitely times I’ll have to do it a second time, things don’t always work out the way you want it, ya know?

If I wear maxi dresses to work, which I did here, I like to pair it with a scarf just to conceal my shoulders a bit more since it is at an office. You guys have seen this scarf before and you know how much I love it. It can go with so many things and can help tie the outfit together. There are many different blues and pinks in it that you can bring out certain colors, such as how I used my sky blue Rebecca Minkoff bag and how I used my Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Prom Night. I wore my cute little monogrammed sandals from Marley Lilly and accessorized with some staple pieces from Chloe & Isabel.
