Welcome #NSale 2018!
So excited to welcome the #NSALE 2018! One of my favorite sales of the year is here because new items are hitting the shelves and racks for the fall! Fall is my favorite season – cardigans, booties, and oversized scarves give me all the feels! The sales are utterly amazing and you can shop early with a Nordstrom Card. The card is the key. If you apply for the card online and you don’t get it in the mail in time that is okay, you just need to stop by a register and give them your name, you will get a paper receipt and you can use that to shop with. Also everyone gets Triple Point Days. Ask a salesperson to use it during the sale!
Why shop the #NSale?
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale introduces shoppers to BRAND NEW fall styles where high priced designer items are on major sale. You can shop items like Stuart Weitzman’s knee high boots, Tory Burch tote bags, and Kate Spade watches, earrings & necklaces for less money than you could believe. Last year, I picked up a new pair of Tory Burch boots and they were completely revamped and updated. They fit so much better around my wide calf and were so much more comfortable. I even returned the ones I purchased at the 2016 Anniversary Sale so I could purchase the new ones. These boots are marked down from $499 to $299! These boots sell out so fast and if you need a pair, jump on them first. I like that these items stay on sale for a long period of time and give shoppers the chance to purchase these items before they raise the price.
When can I shop?
In order to shop the #NSale Early Access, which is from July 12 – July 19, you need a Nordstrom card. Last year, I didn’t apply for a Nordstrom card until the day before the sale & I was approved right away. It was really simple & easy. All I had to do was walk up to a register & the salesperson gave me a temporary paper copy of my “card”. I enjoy shopping early because all of the brand new items sell out really fast. I even missed out on some items that I added to my shopping cart because they sold out. Interested in getting a Nordstrom credit or debit card? Check out this link. If you decide to wait for regular access that’s fine too! You can shop the same sale as well starting on July 20 (sale ends August 5).
My tips for shopping the sale:
1. Add items to your wishlist online.
Use the wishlist option on the Nordstrom website if you’re shopping from home. Add items to your cart and go through what you have in there before you press the confirm order button. I like to purchase things and pair things together. I’m that type of shopper. I like to find the perfect scarf to go with the cutest skirt. I don’t like to buy random pieces, I like things to work together. Adding to your wishlist can help you organize what you want and what you need.
2. Utilize the reserve online and try on in store option.
Reserve items on your phone and when you get to the store, you can try them on. That way you know you scored the perfect pair of shoes without someone stealing the last 5.5 size. The dressing rooms are nice and private and you have the luxury of trying on the items before you buy. This makes things a lot easier when shopping.
3. Stock up on basics.
Buy the pair of jeans that you will want to wear everyday. My Current Elliot jeans from last year were marked down to $129 and I wish I bought 5 pairs because they are the most comfortable denim I have ever owned. White and black tees, comfy neutral sweaters, you can never go wrong. Go with the basics, that you can layer under other items. LUSH clothing always has some great basic short sleeve and long sleeve shirts, especially BP Nordstrom you can always find cute dressy and casual tops!
